A motion will be presented at the NZATE AGM, which will take place at the IFTE Conference. This motion will reflect the thinking that one more regional representative from the Central North Island region is added to the NZATE committee, to reflect the growth in population in the 30 years since NZATE was formed.

The motion, in two parts, is:
That article 7.1 be amended from That national council shall consist of ten members elected by postal ballot for a two year term to read
That national council shall consist of eleven members elected by postal ballot for a two year term
And that article 7.4 be amended from that six further elected members shall ensure regional representation on the national council to read that seven further elected members shall ensure regional representation on the national council… and Waikato/Central North Island one member be changed to Waikato/Central North Island two members.
